Yes, it is true! I have discovered that children of the 18 month age spectrum really should have close attention paid to them during the day. It is a sad fact that many of them learn how to entertain themselves when allowed to explore their surroundings (of which are not toddler proof!).
Below you will see the evidence of such a misfortune. Pay close attention to the fingers, and the mouth.
Watercolour paints are really not edible, contrary to toddler beliefs.
